...Subtelne zmiany poetyk, od czystego klasycyzmu po odrobinę latynoskiego sentymentalizmu, podkreślają fakt, że mamy do czynienia z propozycją wirtuozerską, beztroską i pogodną. A co najważniejsze, przynajmniej dla samego Bokuna, zrealizowano ją w rodzinno-przyjacielskim w gronie, na świetnym poziomie wykonawczym i... na cudownym luzie.

...in the hands of the Consortium Musicum the works blossoms - evidence of the fine musicianship of the group. They have obviously thought carefully about formal shape, phrasing, and balance. Bokun's sound is warm, flexible, and above all, expressive. He has wonderful tonal control at all dynamic levels, and his intonation is impeccable. He executes the short but difficult tongued passages in the second movement with great precision, impressively matching the violist's spiccato. The viola playing by Bartosz Bokun is fabulous.
In sum, this is a terrific CD... The important thing is that Jan Jakub Bokun is not just a fine clarinetist. He is a musician of the highest quality, and the same can be said for the other performers on this disc. Bokun's versatility is superbly demonstrated on this recording. It is certainly a CD that I will listen to over and over again.

Świetna zespołowa współpraca, dojrzałość muzyczna oraz dobre wyczucie do repertuaru - to tylko niektóre z atutów tria Consortium Musicum, które sprawiły, że sobotni koncert kameralny w siedzibie Filharmonii Wrocławskiej z pewnością należy zaliczyć do udanych. Troje muzyków - klarnecista Jan Jakub Bokun, altowiolista Bartosz Bokun oraz pianistka Magdalena Blum - tworzy zespół o dość niespotykanym składzie, przyciągający niebanalnym połączeniem barw. Nośny i jasny ton klarnetu współgra z podobnym w miękkości, ale za to dużo ciemniejszym brzmieniem altówki, fortepian natomiast, dzięki subtelności gry Blum, odpowiednio wspiera i uzupełnia ten ciekawy duet.
